XL Indonesia has partnered with WeDo Technologies to implement the revenue assurance and fraud management solution, which was completed in January this year. According to Wedo Technologies, XL Indonesia, with 60 million subscribers, has managed to bring down the time it takes to detect potential leakage to revenue by threefolds following the implementation of WeDo Technologies’ Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management platform RAID 7. Optimised for Oracle Exadata Machine, the solution has cut storage requirements for XL Indonesia by up to 20 times and increased analysis speed of Call Detail Record (CDRs) by three times, it added.
XL Indonesia opted to combine its existing Oracle databases into an Oracle engineered system – Oracle Exadata Database Machine to optimize storage and analysis of data without service interuption. The company then worked with its existing Revenue Assurance partner, WeDo Technologies, who had already worked with Oracle to benchmark and optimise its business assurance software to run on Exadata.“Time is money in Revenue Assurance. The faster a problem is detected and fixed, the less revenue you lose. Implementing RAID 7 running on Oracle Exadata means individual RAID modules run three times faster so we can make informed decisions in a third of the time we could before. We’re also saving money on storage with the massive compressions offered by Exadata.”
