Telenor Myanmar has extended its partnership with iflix, the leading OTT TV service provider for emerging markets, to offer its broadband subscribers unlimited access to iflix’s service and content.

Telenor home broadband customers subscribing to 5mbps, 10 mbps and 15mbps broadband plans can now enjoy monthly unlimited access to all iflix content and features, at no additional cost. 

They can now enjoy iflix’s vast library of movies, offered with Myanmar subtitles in both Zawgyi and Unicode. 

iflix first launched its service in Malaysia and the Philippines in May 2015. In June 2016, iflix announced the establishment of ‘iflix Africa’ with launches in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Zimbabwe. In February 2017, iflix announced the establishment of ‘iflix Arabia’, its joint venture with Zain, a leading mobile and data services operator in the Middle East and Africa.  

As of December 2017, iflix claims that its global footprint has increased to 25 territories worldwide.
