Telia Company and Microsoft are joining forces to bring full Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities to customers across the Nordic and Baltic countries.
To meet customers’ future digital needs, Telia and Microsoft will address the full IoT space, with Telia’s best of breed IoT Platform based heavily on Microsoft Azure. Together, the two companies basically can meet any type of IoT need, ranging from basic device connectivity, to tailored customer solutions with data analytics and storage.
Telia said its IoT platform is already in use with several customers, including FM Mattsson Mora Group, Sweden’s leading tap manufacturer and world renowned for its technical solutions for water mixers. During an innovation project, mixers in public bathrooms have been equipped with sensors and connected to Telia’s IoT platform via the mobile network. Data from the mixers is then analyzed and visualized in the platform.
