KaR-Tel, a leading mobile and network service provider in Kazakhstan, this week announced the availability of the Cisco Jasper Control Center automated IoT connectivity platform for all companies looking to deliver IoT services to their customers on KaR-Tel’s mobile network.

The combination of KaR-Tel’s mobile network with the Cisco Jasper IoT connectivity management platform enables enterprises to securely and cost-effectively deliver new connected services throughout Kazakhstan, and to scale those services globally as needed.

KaR-Tel is currently seeing significant demand for the Control Center platform across multiple markets, including:

 - Connected Car – Connected car initiatives enable auto makers worldwide to transform their vehicles into connected hubs capable of delivering services that enhance the driver’s experience, drive new revenue, and deliver powerful research & development insight into vehicle performance.

 - Retail and Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminals– Retailers are capitalizing on IoT to offer new services, enhance their customer experiences and more quickly enter new markets with connect POS terminals.

 - Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) – ATMs have evolved beyond simply dispensing cash and now deliver additional services including check cashing/depositing, submission of loan applications, and even the reloading of gift cards. Secure IoT connectivity and management of these devices enables the safe, scalable deployment of ATM services.
