Telenor Maritime, the global maritime mobile operator, has expanded the long-term partnership with Stena Line, one of the largest ferry operators in the world.

Telenor Maritime announced the introduction of a mobile ecosystem to onboard Stena Line's passenger ships to allow passengers and crew to broadcast videos, contact family and friends, access social networks and other online sites. It has deployed a connectivity platform with Mobile/3G/4G, Premium Wi-Fi, Ka-VSAT and mobile broadband backhaul in addition to existing system to improve the customer experience.

Telenor Maritime also introduced a set of new digital services that support the complete digital value chain.
