Accuvant releases its new Vulnerability Management Service (VMS) on a managed services portfolio by working together with Qualys. The new solution combines Qualys’ QualysGuard Cloud Platform with Accuvant’s advanced security expertise and methodologies, providing enterprise-level organizations with a continuous vulnerability scanning and validation service. The solution also enables enterprises to outsource a critical function while ensuring protection so that they can focus on other important aspects of their business.

According to Accuvant, its VMS delivers rigorous, recurring vulnerability scanning and testing with a consultative approach. It can be customized to ensure the entire vulnerability management lifecycle is proactively executed, and is available in three tiers, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Security threats continue to rise each year, while simultaneously increasing in sophistication and malicious intent. Without proper planning and investment, organizations may find themselves vulnerable to attack,” said Todd Weber, Accuvant’s vice president of managed services. “Accuvant’s new Vulnerability Management Service helps companies ensure the integrity of their environments. It provides the ongoing monitoring, maintenance and regularly scheduled updates that are key contributors to the continuing effectiveness of any security solution.” “

Accuvant has built an impressive portfolio of managed security and consulting services,” said Philippe Courtot, chairman and CEO of Qualys. “QualysGuard augments Accuvant’s offerings with an advanced vulnerability management platform, helping clients secure and protect IT assets on a continuous basis.”
