Telenor Connexion, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telenor Group has selected Asavie Technologies' M2M Connect, a smart SDN (Software Defined Network) solution that enables mobile carriers to rapidly and securely roll out new service offerings to complement its M2M (machine-to-machine) service offering. The M2M Connect M2M deployments can be activated in hours even where complex, bi-directional routing or firewalling are demanded. Telenor Connexion enables market-leading customers like Volvo, Hitachi Construction Machinery and Scania to wirelessly connect products and services, enabling the streamlining of processes, accurate real-time information and enhancement of their customers’ experience. 

According to Asavie, demand for connectivity service requires carriers to provide solution for rapid access to a range of reliable, cost-effective connectivity solutions such as the M2M connect.  In addition, carriers will be required to roll out services in new geographic and vertical markets, across businesses of all sizes, without the lead-times involved in customization or building dedicated delivery capabilities. Asavie adds that via its global carrier and M2M ecosystem partners, the M2M solution is targeted at over 1 billion subscribers in the US, EMEA and Asian markets
