Etisalat, a leading communications service provider in the UAE has awarded a multi-million contract to Sandvine, upgrading an existing broadband traffic management network to add Network Analytics, Fairshare Traffic Management, Network Protection and Usage for its fixed and mobile networks, including FTTH and LTE technologies. 

The solution will enable Etisalat which has footprint that spans across more than 15 countries to improve quality of service, enhance customer experience and gain visibility into their networks, and hence enable the leading service provider in the Gulf region to innovate and provide subscribers with superior Internet experience, says Sandvine.  Sandvine adds that, its market-leading business intelligence products help operators understand current and future trends in subscriber experience and network resource utilization so operators can proactively decide where to allocate resources and make incremental network investments.
