WOW!, a US-based cable operator with high-speed Internet, cable TV, and phone services has selected NetCracker to deliver an OSS transformation program that will help to streamline network operations, enhance service fulfillment processes, support its existing lines of business and pursue growing opportunities in the commercial services market. Netcraker will provide its NetCracker 9.0 network resource inventory and network design and planning capabilities and will create a centralized repository for WOW!’s network data while consolidating and migrating data from several acquired solutions.

According to Netcraker, the OSS transformation program which expands on an existing relationship, will enable WOW! to reduce operating costs, streamline service fulfillment processes, and deploy an enterprise-class platform from which to launch new commercial services offerings.

“NetCracker is well known for its OSS solutions, transformation capabilities, and expertise assisting cable operators with their commercial services strategies. As our BSS partner, NetCracker was a logical choice for this expanded program,” said Cash Hagen, CTO at WOW!

“As WOW! competes in the highly competitive and rapidly changing cable service market, we are excited to deliver our NetCracker 9.0 products, expand our relationship, and further help our long standing customer to increase revenue while decreasing core operating costs,” said Sylvain Seignour, Vice President Americas at NetCracker.
