ONO, a leading Pay TV, broadband, mobile, and fixed line voice provider in Spain, has signed an agreement with NetCracker to upgrade its rating and billing capabilities and to deliver its Active Mediation solution to support ONO’s rapidly growing mobile service offerings. ONO which provides quad-play services to 1.8 million consumer customers in Spain, offers among the most advanced fixed and mobile broadband, entertainment, and cloud-based applications available to SMEs and large enterprises in the Spanish market.

ONO has been a long-standing NetCracker rating and billing customer and is contracting NetCracker for a multi-year extension and upgrade to the solution. Furthermore, NetCracker will deliver its Active Mediation solution to support the escalating volumes of event information generated as a result of ONO’s rapid growth in mobile services. According to NetCracker, its Active Mediation solution provides a massively scalable platform for collection, processing, and transforming multi-vendor network and service events for billing, service assurance, and customer experience management.
