Keysight announced an agreement with Sequans to leverage Sequans' Monarch LTE for IoT chip platform to provide support for NB-IoT and LTE-M customers using Keysight's E7515A UXM wireless test set.

Sequans' Monarch is a single-chip LTE Cat M1/NB1 solution designed specifically for narrowband IoT applications, including sensors, wearables, and other low data, low power M2M and IoT devices.

The integration assures customers that they have their test needs covered for IoT deployments and are in compliance with 3GPP standards.

Keysight and Sequans are developing products and solutions that are tailored for the IoT ecosystem and the companies are now working closely together to accelerate the deployment of IoT technologies in the industry.

Partnership with Ixia

Keysight also announced a solution that supports simultaneous cellular and WiFi testing that is enabled by the combination of Keysight's UXM network emulator and the Ixia's Wave Test System.

The T5510S Cellular + WiFi Emulation System is a test platform covering a complete cellular and WiFi system, from data traffic generation to physical transmission, layers 1 to 7.

The T5510S Cellular + WiFi Emulation System also includes Keysight's flexible Test Automation Platform and ready-to-use, built-in test cases. This complete system delivers unmatched capabilities for testing with the latest cellular standards (LTE/LTE-Advanced/NB-IoT/Cat-M) as well as all WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) under a wide range of traffic and RF emulation conditions.

Satish Dhanasekaran, President, Communications Solutions Group, Keysight
Keysight is excited to collaborate with Sequans and assist them with their test needs for NB-IoT. Our network emulation solutions provide scalability and the capabilities needed to support design and test from initial requirements to formal conformance.

Danny Kedar, VP of Sequans' IoT Business Unit
Our work with Keysight gives our customers assurance that our Monarch platform can fully support the NB-IoT and LTE-M 3GPP narrowband IoT technologies. While the two technologies are deploying at different rates around the world, with LTE-M, a priority in the USA, and NB-IoT, the priority in Europe and Asia, it's important that testing solutions support both, and our collaboration with Keysight enables this.
