The 500,000 sq. ft. Kista, Sweden headquarters of telecom leader Ericsson now uses indoor positioning system from Senion’s StepInside.
The technology interfaces with a corporate app so the company’s 4,000 employees throughout 20 floors and four buildings can easily find available rooms and spaces to work.
This office solution is designed by Senion’s longtime partner Flowscape, that has pre-integrated StepInside into its platform. Together the two companies will help Ericsson employees reduce wasted time searching for people, places, or things, and drive productivity.
Using personal or work-issued smartphones, more than 4,000 employees working throughout 20 floors distributed over four buildings can now use a corporate app to easily find available rooms and spaces to work.
The system as implemented today is the starting point for a bigger roll-out with additional workplace enhancements at Ericsson.
