Ooredoo Maldives is leveraging Syniverse’s global, reliable and secure platform to protect the operator against mobile roaming fraud and more accurately collect revenue for services across its operations.

The fraud protection capabilities Syniverse is providing Ooredoo Maldives are grounded on predictive analysis and a global approach that will enable the operator to combat a range of mobile fraud using patented analysis technology and high-speed processing of event records to prevent and respond to particular patterns. Syniverse’s revenue management provides the operator with clear and accurate data on its entire revenue flow, enabling Ooredoo Maldives to identify any problem areas in the end-to-end billing cycle that can be optimized to help eliminate revenue loss.

The agreement with Ooredoo Maldives furthers a multiyear relationship that includes the use of Syniverse’s Data Clearing Services, Financial Clearing and Settlement Services, and Near-Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange solutions.

The relationship also builds on a larger global relationship with Ooredoo that includes the recent integration of Syniverse’s LTE roaming solution for Ooredoo Oman and Syniverse’s IPX with Diameter Signaling Service for Ooredoo Qatar.
