NTT Com, the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group, has deployed the Coriant Groove G30 Network Disaggregation Platform to interconnect multiple data center sites in Hong Kong.

Purpose-built for hyperscale density and low power consumption, the Coriant Groove G30 enables NTT Com to maximize utilization of its fiber infrastructure and deliver cost-efficient 100G+ Data Center Interconnect (DCI) services optimized for the mission-critical traffic demands of its regional and global customers, said Coriant.

The Coriant Groove G30, deployed in an alien wavelength application over existing NTT Com DWDM infrastructure, leverages an open, plug-and-play modular architecture to accelerate deployment of revenue services with the ultimate in transport efficiency and operational simplicity.

The Coriant Groove G30 Platform is purpose-built to deliver programmable, high speed, and secure bandwidth that today's mobile, video, and cloud applications require, with ultra-low power consumption, high density, and flexibility for high-performance connectivity at the lowest total cost. The stackable solution supports 3.2 terabits of capacity throughput in a compact and highly pluggable 1RU form factor, and enables service providers and cloud and data center operators to build their own scalable and secure transmission and optical line solutions with best-in-class functions, all enabled through open APIs.

The solution supports programmable DWDM line interface to optimize the bandwidth and performance of high-capacity transmission from 100G to 400G in metro, regional, or long-haul transport and/or DCI applications.
