Brazil’s Algar Telecom has selected Bwtech’s NetChart to supervise its multi-vendor Radio Access Network and standardize the network configuration parameters to ensure the best possible user experience.
Bwtech is a software and systems integration firm, providing and integrating solutions to more than 20 mobile network operators in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. The company focuses on RAN and Core optimization, SON, LBS and User Experience Analytics.
The partnership will enable the Algar engineering team to monitor their 2G, 3G and 4G Radio Access Network performance and logical alarms as well as generate customised performance reports. Simultaneously, NetChart will be used to manage the multi-vendor configuration parameters, automatically correcting any setting deviation whilst assuring that the optimal parameters are always maintained.
Algar Telecom Engineers will also use NetChart to correlate network elements performances with parameters changes and logical alarms. This allows engineers to quickly understand the impact a parameter change or logical alarm has on the network performance. By rapidly identifying these issues and correcting them, Algar will offer the best quality of service they can to their clients.
