According to TeliaSonera, Norwegians were using SMS, MMS, snapchat, Facebook and Whatsapp as major channels to message each other during the festive season.

Abraham Foss, CEO of TeliaSonera Norway
An increasing number of Norwegians are sending digital Christmas greetings to each other. It goes fast, when many at once and displays real-time events from Christmas Eve, like when kids unwrapping gifts or a lucky winner gets the almond in the porridge.
