The worldwide revenue management market is forecast to grow from USD5.66 billion in 2013 to USD6.35 billion in 2018, at a 1.9% CAGR, according to ReportsnReports. The market research company says that postpaid billing continues to dominate overall revenue from this segment, while convergent platforms are increasingly becoming the norm in all new billing deployments.

The market research company via its Revenue Management Systems: Worldwide Forecast 2014-2018 report also said that Convergent platforms continue to drive growth in the overall billing market, dominated by mobile services with the increasing use of mediation systems for non-charging applications becoming a key driver of growth in this sub-segment.

The partner and interconnect segment is set for strong growth as traffic shifts to IP and communications service providers (CSPs) are increasingly relying on partnerships to create new services or share resources, said ReportsnReports.
