IBM Tuesday announced it has acquired the business operations of Lincoln-based Lighthouse Security Group, a premier cloud security services provider to extend its leadership in security - delivering innovation, services and software that help businesses protect their data.
IBM plans to integrate Lighthouse Gateway, an identity management solution that protects identity and data in an increasingly complex IT environment into IBM's leading managed security services offering.
The tech giant also plans to integrate the businesses of Lighthouse Security Group and CrossIdeas that it acquired recently with IBM’s identity and access management offering, to provide a full suite of security software and services that protect and manage a user’s identity.
