OSS/BSS Firm Enghouse Systems Acquires CellVision to Expand Portfolio of Operator Solutions

Ontario, Canada-based Enghouse Systems announced that it has acquired telecoms software vendor, CellVision. Enghouse’s software product portfolio supports next generation telecommunications and utility network operators. 

Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, CellVision enables spatial intelligence and visual dashboard analytics for network operators. Its solutions visualize network impact on customer experience and deliver network operations efficiencies in handling customer complaints, customer care and mobile coverage marketing.

The company’s mBOSS product line in particular covers a suite of applications that integrates with data sources in the telecommunications service provider’s operating environment, including OSS and BSS systems, geographic information systems (GIS), coverage planning, trouble ticketing, fault management, CRM, probes, configuration management systems, element management systems, and delivers a holistic operating view of the network.

CellVision extends our capabilities in GIS, enabling real time analytics and visualization dashboards, especially for mobile network operators but can also be extended to other fixed line converged operators and utilities.
