South Korean electronics giant, LG Electronics (LG) makes yet another attempt for curved smartphones with the unveiling of the new G Flex2 at the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas. The G Flex2 is the first smartphone with a Snapdragon 810 chipset and comes with sleeker design, more stylish curves and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 810 processor with Octa-Core 64-bit capable CPUs for a nimbler and smoother performance.
The 5.5-inch G Flex2 powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop, also boasts 1080p Full HD P-OLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and an all-new features such as Gesture View and Glance View. Other features include 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, microSD support, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, NFC and 3,000 mAh battery.
According to LG, the G Flex2 will be available starting at the end of the month in Korea and will be followed by additional global markets. The device will initially be available in two colors: Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
For heavy users of mobile data, especially those who consume rich digital content, the innovative device comes with high speed wireless connectivity options such as tri-band LTE-Advanced with 300Mbps download speeds, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1 with Apt-X handle wireless connectivity.
