T-Mobile has launched its own branded 5.5 inch HD display smartphone, REVVL for $125 up front or $5 a month for 18 months.

It boasts a 1.5GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6738 microprocessor, and the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. In addition it features a 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

To top it off, the REVVL has a fingerprint sensor to help keep all your data secure, a feature once seen on only high-end devices.

T-Mobile COO Mike Sievert said in a blog that the company is catering to those who want the latest smartphone technology but can't afford to pay for high-end devices. He added that the Revvl was built specifically for T-Mobile customers who, according to the company, use more data and upgrade their phones faster than those with other carriers.

T-Mobile is expected to launch another of its own branded smartphone called the T-Mobile Alchemy sometime soon.
