EE announced a new Travel Data Pass and new data roaming add-ons for EE pay monthly customers to replace its Euro Data Pass to offer customers worry-free phone use in an additional 11 countries, including popular destinations such as Australia, UAE, USA, Canada and Thailand.
Available just in time for the festive season, the Travel Data Pass gives EE pay monthly mobile customers 500MB of data for £3-5 per day. They pay £3 for a daily pass in the European Zone, £4 for USA and Canada and £5 for Australia, China, India, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, and UAE
Current users of the Euro Data Pass will be automatically transferred over to Travel Data Pass and enjoy these new benefits.
To opt-in to Travel Data Pass benefits, EE customers should simply text the word TRAVEL to 150 using their phone and they will automatically be enrolled for the duration of their contract. There is no need to remove it upon return to the UK and users will only be charged on the days they use mobile data abroad in an included country.
