US regional service provider, Frontier Communications recently launched its Vantage brand, a premium all-digital platform that includes TV HD offerings, ultra-fast broadband, and enhanced VoIP. The products will be offered as Vantage TV, Vantage Internet, and Vantage Voice.

The company is said to acquire all of Verizon’s landline-related assets in California, Florida and Texas next month, including its Internet, video and phone services. Frontier hopes to leverage the wireline assets to introduce Vantage TV in these regions.

Vantage TV promises among others superior HD picture quality with 4K ultra-high-definition (UHD) capability in select markets. It comes with up to 1TB storage that is capable of recording four shows at once and allows viewers to pause, rewind and play back live TV and store more than 170 hours of HD programming. It also includes Video On Demand Library that will contain more than 100,000 movies and TV shows.
