Vodafone Portugal announced that it is eliminating roaming charges for customers when they travel to Europe under its new RED plans, which are available to customers from EUR 27.5 per month. The plan is a step closer to the end of the roaming charges which will take effect by June 2017 for countries under the European Union.
All new customers who join the new Vodafone RED or its triple play bundle, TvNetVoz + Mobile plan can now enjoy same in-country rates for voice calls, text messages and data when they are traveling in Europe.
The operator is also launching a new advertising campaign called 'Power to travelers' on TV, outdoor, radio and digital channels to market the new offer.
The offer is subject to fair use policy, said Vodafone Portugal.
