Canadian MVNO Otono Launches Low Cost Family Plan with Parental Control

Vancouver, Canada-based Mobile Virtul Network Operator(MVNO), Otono launches Krew Mobile, a low cost family based mobile plan with parental control feature. Otono brands include Roam Mobility for USA and Canada and Ready SIM.

Krew Mobile gives controls to parents by allowing them to turn kids' lines on and off to monitor usage and set healthy limits for $39 a month for one parent and two kids' lines. As part of its initial launch, the operator is looking for parents to help them build their wireless service with a pilot program. As a test pilot, 1000 participants will have the opportunity to try the service for free for up to two months, and provide feedback and suggest features that they'd like to see. Other qualified applicants can try the service for $19 per month. All participants will receive a free Krew Mobile Starter Kit, said Otono.
