Virgin Media Brings Vevo Music Video Streaming Service to TiVo

Music to our ears: Virgin Media brings Vevo to TiVo®

Virgin Media, a quadruple player, providing broadband, TV, mobile phone and home phone services in the UK, announced that it has partnered Vevo to integrated its premium music video service with its own TiVo service. Vevo is a leading music video service featuring more than 20,000 artists with a catalogue of more than 250,000 videos including exclusive original programming, exclusive sessions and live music performances.

The new Vevo app will be available to all TiVo customers regardless of their package. TiVo users can access Vevo's offerings via TiVo's Music On Demand folder, Apps and Games and the Search and Discover menu. If the customer updates their playlists across desktop or mobile it will automatically sync with the playlist stored on the TiVo service.

David Bouchier, Chief Digital Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media
With music streaming doubling in the last year, Vevo will help meet customer’s hunger for music entertainment, increasing the quality and range of music available to TiVo customers.

Alex Kisch, EVP, Business Development and Business Affairs, Vevo
This partnership with Virgin Media is indicative of continued growth and popularity of premium music videos in the living room, and the integral role it plays in our daily music habits.
