Ortel Communications(Ortel), one of the leading cable television and high speed broadband service providers in India has introduced a Wi-Fi Public Hotspot service, 'On the Go' for its Fixed Broadband subscribers. The Wi-Fi Hot Spot service has been launched as a special value added offering and subscribers can access the service using their existing fixed broadband credentials.

Ortel which focuses its business in Indian states of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and West Bengal, is initially offering the Wi-Fi Hot Spot service across various busy locations in the city of Bhubaneswar which attracts large crowds on shopping and leisure activities.

We are happy to launch wireless broadband access at public areas through Wi-Fi Hotspots for our existing and new broadband subscribers. This will allow our wired broadband subscribers to access internet using their existing Ortel Broadband connection outside their homes at places where most of them visit very frequently.
