Bahrain-based telecom operator, Batelco has signed an agreement with the largest mobile operator in India, Bharti Airtel as part of its major plans to expand its global presence and solidify its global data offerings. The new partnership will see both companies leveraging each other’s networks thereby enabling Batelco to extend their reach into newer markets, especially in the Pan-Asian region. Similarly, Airtel will be able to utilise Batelco’s presence across the Middle East and other regions to reach its customers in more locations.
According to Batelco, in an increasingly digital world with diversified business requirements, global organisations now place larger emphasis on resilient and reliable global data connectivity.
