The largest mobile operator in India, Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G coverage to Salem in Tamilnadu and Sri city in Andhra Pradesh. At present, the operator is already providing 4G across various areas in the state of Tamilnadu including Chennai, Pondy, Vellore, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirupur & Tirunelveli.

Bharti Airtel which has led the 4G service rollout in India with the first deployment in Kolkata in 2012, has already launched 4G in nearly 300 towns and cities. The operator has also recently announced an investment of Rs 60,000 crore to modernize its networks.

With 4G connectivity, Bharti Airtel's customers can enjoy high speed data and rich content services including its recently launched carrier agnostic mobile app – ‘Wynk Movies’, India's first curated movie marketplace that offers an exhaustive library of popular movies and other entertainment videos.
