The Walt Disney company has signed a multi-year license agreement with China’s e-commerce giant, Alibaba Group to launch DisneyLife over the top service (OTT) service in the country. The new OTT service will feature a Mickey Mouse-shaped device that will allow Chinese consumers to stream movies, play games, read e-books and listen to songs from Disney.

The device will be available for pre-sale via Tmall.com from December 15th and will cost RMB799 (USD125.00) inclusive of one year subscription of DisneyLife basic package. The company, however did not reveal the monthly subscription fee once the one year period ends.
