T-Mobile's prepaid brand, MetroPCS has launched 'North America Unlimited' offer which allows all its customers to use voice, messaging and 4G LTE data service in Canada and Mexico for an additional $5/month, just like at home in the United States. MetroPCS customers with a $40 or higher base rate plan can add the new feature online, via the phone, or at any MetroPCS location.
The new add-on allows customers to enjoy unlimited voice and messaging to Canada and Mexico, while they are in the US and vice-versa. MetroPCS customers can also enjoy 4G LTE data straight from their existing quota bucket while they are travelling to these two countries.
North America Unlimited builds on MetroPCS’ popular Mexico Unlimited add-on, introduced this July, which expanded customers’ coverage throughout Mexico. The offer by MetroPCS mimics T-Mobile’s Mobile Without Borders plan, which also provides unlimited texting, calling, and the ability to use subscriber's 4G LTE data in Canada and Mexico.
