The second largest mobile operator in the UAE, du introduces a new mobile application, duApp to offer an appointment booking service to reduce waiting times for customers visiting du stores. New functionality on duApp allows personal and business customers to book appointments up to two hours before visiting a du store and ensure they are next to be seen on arrival.

According to du, the duApp will allow customers to minimize waiting time in stores by choosing an hour slot at a time and store, that is most convenient to them. The duApp will then generate a code to be input into the machine as they enter the store – which will automatically make them as the next in turn to engage the customer care consultant. The application also reserves a number of appointments for each hour in a store,  ensuring those walking into the store without using the App are still seen in a reasonable amount of time. If a particular store if busy, the duApp will highlight availability in other outlets nearby. 

The duApp also allows du customers to pay their mobile bills.
