Singapore's M1 Extends Local Data Bundle to Europe

Singapore's M1 extends its local data roaming bundle to cover Europe, as well as three new regional destinations. At a single subscription of S$50 per month, customers can use Europe Data Passport across Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. M1 Data Passport has also been expanded to Australia, Philippines and Thailand, at S$10 per country per month.

The Data Passport plan, said M1, is now offered on mobile and mobile broadband plans, in addition to plans launched in 2014. Customers who exceed their data bundles will pay local excess data usage rates of S$10.70/GB, capped at S$188.32 per month. A S$2 one-time activation fee applies, with an additional S$5 for multi-SIM users.
