Sprint launched a new 'unlimited' data plan, starting at $20 per month that gives customer 1GB of high-speed data. However, customers will be throttled to 2G speeds after they exceed the 1GB data usage. With the plan, Sprint also offers unlimited talk and text while on the Sprint network for an additional $20 per month.
As part of the campaign, Sprint also introduces a $70 Unlimited High-Speed Data Plan that includes 3GB of mobile hotspot usage. Under this plan, subscribers will enjoy unlimited talk, text plus Sprint Global Roaming. Subscribers who wish to add extra lines will need to spend $60 on each line with a limit of 10 lines.
Two weeks back, the fourth largest operator in the US announced that it will be throttling down speeds of its new unlimited data plan customers that exceed 23GB on their monthly usage.
