The second largest operator in UAE, du extends its partnership with Vodafone to provide Machine to Machine (M2M) solutions to UAE businesses. The partnership enables du to offer enhanced M2M services to enterprises looking to implement Internet-of-Things (IoT) services by pairing its local market knowledge with Vodafone’s expertise and market leading M2M platform.

Initially du will focus on Connected Car opportunities such as enhanced safety, connecting drivers with garages and emergency services. The technology also stands to revolutionize access to in-car infotainment. Apart from the Connected Car, the partnership will enable du to provide its business customers the M2M platform that will enable them to offer health applications such as those which support remote care for patients.
