PLDT Global introduces unlimited data and call plans for Filipinos residing in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and United Kingdom. The operator has launched the unlimited Smart Pinoy mobile Data Packages that will give global Filipinos access to popular social media networking sites such as Facebook and for specific territories, their favorite movies and TV series via video-on-demand providers.
In Hong Kong, overseas Filipinos can enjoy unlimited Facebook on the 90-day UnliFB Plan at HK$50 or P300. For those who need more than Facebook, the operator offers an unlimited data and call subscription that costs HK$98 or P588 for 30 days. PLDT also offers one-day unlimited data bucket at HK$12 or P72.
In Malaysia, new subscribers of its handset and data packages will get free iflix for one month, with data plans starting at RM3 a day.
To enable global Filipinos to maintain close communication to their families back home, PLDT is also providing the Family Telebabad plan which allows unlimited calling to a PLDT number in the Philippines when they register to the service for a P230 monthly subscription fee.
