Telefónica's enterprise division has signed a two years contract with eHealth firm, Indra to rollout major integrated digital health projects in hospitals and the healthcare field, with particular focus in Latin America. The partnership has been signed by Juan Carlos López Vives, CEO of Telefónica Business Solutions, Cristina Ruiz, General Director of Information Technology of Indra Digital, and Antonio Martos, Global Director of Health of Indra.

Both the companies that have collaborated on various eHealth projects since 2012 aim to enable digitization and modernization of healthcare networks in both the public and private sectors with more collaborative and connected systems. The digital transformation allows healthcare to go beyond walls, enabling new models of doctor-patient relationships based on remote monitoring and virtual visits, extending health care to the home and democratizing access to health.
