A1, Telekom Austria's subsidiary will soon beta launch a new multi-screen OTT TV service - A1 Now - to a sample of 1,000 users. The beta launch which will start on the 17th August will be offered to its own subscribers and also to subscribers of other network operators, and will be used to test the service functionalities and to assess the market readiness for the brand new TV viewing experience.

A1 Now will include 40 linear TV channels and 3,000 on-demand films and TV series episodes on up to five different devices. It also comes with cloud recording, which includes the entire program of the 40 A1 NOW channels that can be stored for up to 7 days and watched later. At the same time, up to 10 hours of compelling content can be recorded and stored for over three months.
