In response to the demand for applications-specific IoT data plans from business customers, especially those requiring roaming connectivity, Telit introduces the Pan-European IoT data coverage.

According to Telit, which plans to position itself as a global enabler of the IoT, the Pan-European coverage comes with enhanced performance and offers a single rate for all Operators. The IoT mobile data plans will also include value-added services that allow customers to remotely manage and troubleshoot their deployment, said Telit.

The offer, which covers roaming across the whole of Europe including Russia and Turkey, enables business customers to take up plans that meet specific use-cases as most mobile data plans in the market lack the features that enable enterprises to fully capitalize on the benefits of IoT.

Telit’s Pan-European coverage allows customers to choose from module plus SIM, module plus SIM and value added services; and module plus SIM, value-added services and access to the Cloud. Telit added that these services are agnostic and available for customers that use a third-party for their connectivity.

Many IoT projects have failed because operators could not provide the right business solution. Now connectivity comes out-of-the box for a fixed, comprehensive and affordable price. It’s tightly integrated with the hardware, the modules, and a portfolio of deployment and troubleshooting services which provides additional, innovative functionality. For example, the Intelligence service gives customers a quick and easy way to analyze the business performance of their M2M/IoT deployments.
