The third largest Operator in the US, Sprint introduces Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), where the Operator bundles the devices, basic configuration and additional dedicated customer support for enterprise packages, starting at $20 per month per employee. The package is offered to any business with 15 or more lines of service and allows employees to pick a device (which can be a smartphone, tablet or mobile broadband hotspot), a data plan and a service team.

An unlimited data option is also available for smartphones and premium devices for USD 65-75 per month while users with tablets and basic phones can subscribe to the service at USD 20 per month for 100 MB of data. According to Sprint, the service comes with access to reports that allow customers to monitor their data usage and said that it will soon be adding cloud storage and anti-virus capabilities to the offer. For many enterprises exploring Bring Your Own Device alternatives, MaaS brings back simplicity and returns control of employees’ wireless usage back to the business, added Sprint further.

Karen Freitag, president, Enterprise Solutions at Sprint
Business owners can focus on running and growing their business, and count on Sprint to provide and manage the wireless devices and service that makes their employees more productive. We listened to the challenges our business customers described and then developed Mobility-as-a-Service specifically so it would reduce the cost and time required to set up and maintain mobile devices. CIOs and their teams now will be able to focus more on their core business and less on the hassles of keeping their work force equipped with the latest mobile devices.
