Suddenlink and Hulu jointly announced this week an agreement that will give Suddenlink customers access to Hulu, a premium streaming television destination that offers a comprehensive catalog of on-demand content, including hit series such as Seinfeld, Empire, South Park, CSI, Nashville and current season programming from NBC, FOX, and ABC.

A provider of Internet, TV, and phone services with more than 1.5 million total customer relationships and more than 1.1 million TV subscribers, Suddenlink will work with Hulu to provide its customers seamless access to Hulu through the same TiVo set-top boxes they already use to watch television.

Suddenlink’s new partnership with Hulu was enabled, in part, by its partnership with TiVo®, announced in July 2010. Suddenlink was the first U.S.-based cable operator to begin offering TiVo high-definition digital video recorders (HD/DVRs) integrated with Suddenlink’s On Demand library and leveraging TiVo’s best-in-class user interface, search and discovery functions.

Suddenlink expects Hulu to be accessible through its TiVo devices later this year.

We’re working with Internet content providers like Hulu in a continuing effort to offer innovative solutions that benefit consumers. Our ongoing network investments allow us to deliver Hulu to our customers with Internet connections that tend to be the fastest and highest-ranked in the communities we serve.

Tim Connolly, SVP, Distribution, Hulu
We are excited about integrating Hulu’s content and experience into Suddenlink’s set-top boxes, so that consumers have seamless and simple access to the content they love, all in one place
