AT&T, in partnership with Microsoft, is bringing its business productivity services a step ahead via its Mobile Office Suite offer. The portfolio, which targets small and mid-sized businesses, offers collaboration services that cover video, voice and web communications from any mobile device, for use in the office and on-the-go, catering for today's increasingly mobile workforce.
AT&T in its statement said that the Mobile Office 365 Suite, a monthly subscription-based service, is a cloud-based solution that provides businesses a fast, easy and highly-secure access to a wide range of services including voice calls, email, calendars, instant messaging, HD video conferencing, desktop sharing and file sharing. The solution which works on most smartphones in the market, also provides access to cloud-based productivity tools such as Lync, Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
In addition to this, the solution, said AT&T, comes with an expanded click-to-call function for Lync Online that enables small business users to make and receive any type of domestic or international voice call while in the U.S. not only from Lync, but also from wireless and landline phones as well as from Skype.
Microsoft and AT&T are creating powerful opportunities for small and midsized businesses to leverage collaboration technology that was once out of their reach. We’re bringing together our leading cloud, mobility and software assets to create an integrated solution that’s easy, affordable, highly-secure and backed by the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network.
