Tele2 Russia which is part of the Tele2 group that boasts 34 million customers in 10 countries, expands its international roaming service for voice, messaging and data by extending its roaming service on Ooredoo's network in Maldives and on DTN's network in Thailand.

According to Tele2 Russia, its subscribers can use automatic voice roaming in Maldives and Thailand at cost-efficient prices – 35 rubles per minute of incoming and outgoing calls excluding numbers in the counties of South and North Americas, while SMS and MMS will be charged 12 rubles. Tele2 added that customers can use voice services in roaming without sending any requests and receive a quick update on expenses and account balance. In Thailand, Tele2 subscribers can enjoy Pay-as-you-Go (PAYG) high-speed mobile Internet at 50 rubles per 1 megabyte to keep in touch with friends on social networks, use instant message services, read e-mails and surf the Internet.
