CounterPath, a provider of over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications solutions for enterprises and operators, Thursday announced that Vodafone New Zealand has selected CounterPath's Bria Unified Communications (UC) clients to be used by call center agents in South East Asia. CounterPath's unified communications solution will interoperate with Genesys platform used by Vodafone in the call centers.
The Bria UC softphone product line is part of CounterPath's Enterprise OTT solution that focuses on enabling voice, video, messaging and presence across virtually any standards-based call server platform, including across any end user device.
According to CounterPath, its products work with a variety of call center infrastructures including those of Cisco, Genesys and Avaya, three of the four leading contact center infrastructure vendors as rated by Gartner. Bria softphones for desktop, tablet and mobile devices, together with Stretto Platform server solutions, enable operators, OEMs and enterprises large and small around the globe to offer a seamless and unified over-the-top (OTT) communications experience across both fixed and mobile networks
