The smartphone maker which has already made BBM available on iOS and Android platforms announced that the messaging application can be accessed via a wide range of Android Wear™ smartwatches to enable BBM users to communicate faster and more discreetly on-the-go.

The BBM messenger integration to Android wear will also enable users to receive alerts and preview on the watch when new BBM messages arrive, in addition to being able to respond to messages via hands-free with Google Now or by selecting preset messages to send. It also gives flexibility to users to accept BBM invites from the watch without the need to access their smartphone. According to Blackberry, BBM for Android Wear features will become available on the watch automatically.
