KDDI will soon introduce the Fx0 smartphone equipped with the Firefox OS open mobile platform to the Japanese market, which the company says is the first Firefox OS smartphone to enter the Japanese market.

The Fx0 is the first Firefox OS smartphone that supports high speed 4G LTE data communication and is equipped with the Qualcomm (R) Snapdragon (TM) 400 processor. The Firefox OS smartphone is also touted to have advanced functionality and design encompassing the openess of the Firefox OS and a futuristic feel achieved under the supervision of world famous designer, Tokujin Yoshioka.
