TELUS is partnering with Cisco to offer two new cloud-based communications services to enterprises in Canada. TELUS has started offering a full suite of unified communications services via its new TELUS Cloud Collaboration and also fully featured contact centre solution hosted in the cloud via its TELUS Cloud Contact Centre. Both products are powered by the Cisco® Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS).

The TELUS Cloud Collaboration enables a suite of Unified communication services such as voicemail, integrated messaging, presence and instant messaging, and voice and video conferencing. TELUS Cloud Contact Centre offers end-to-end enterprise-grade solution that can support anywhere from a handful to thousands of agents. Agents can connect from the office, their home or almost any remote location; enabling businesses to provide the work/life balance their employees are looking for and the service their customers demand, said Telus.

In the United States, AT&T has also partnered with Cisco to offer similar services, offering audio, video and web conferencing as a single suite of solution for business users.

Peter Green, Senior Vice President and President of TELUS Business Solutions
