AT&T's FiLIP 2 adds to the range of smart wearables offered by the company. FiLIP 2 from Filip Technologies is a smart locator designed for young children. The FiLIP 2 is worn on the wrist just like a smartwatch and comes with wireless connectivity. FiLIP 2 is now available at AT&T at $99.99. AT&T's customers can add the device to their Mobile Share Value plan or purchase a standalone plan for $10 a month.

According to AT&T, the smart locator allows parents to learn about the whereabouts of their children via a two-way voice calling and location tracking, enabling parents to know where their kids are and communicate with their kids. The FiLIP 2 holds up to 5 contacts which the child can call or send a message to. The SafeZones features sends a notification to parents when the child enters or leaves a designated area. Durable, colorful and accessorized with optional size spacers, the smart locator is well suited for young children and is expected to bring piece of mind to a lot of parents when their children are out and about in public places.
