From this 24th October, MetroPCS data-hungry customers can now get their hands on the new ALCATEL ONETOUCH® POP™ 7, which is the first-ever tablet to be offered by the MetroPCS. MetroPCS, T-Mobile's flagship prepaid brand, is offering the POP 7 in a number of simple and affordable plans, said T-Mobile.

According to T-Mobile, customers can own the ALCATEL ONETOUCH POP 7 for just $149 (plus tax) and with as little as USD10 a month, existing MetroPCS customers will get unlimited data (and up to 1GB of 4G data) for their new device on T-Mobile’s Data Strong™ network. At USD20 and USD30 permonth, customers' 4G data allowance increases to 3GB and 5GB respectively.

The ALCATEL ONETOUCH ® POP™ 7 which is only 8.9mm thin features powerful 1.3GHz dual-core processor, spacious 7” display, 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and Android™ 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. Those adding POP 7 to their existing MetroPCS phone service will receive a USD5 monthly discount, said T-Mobile.

MetroPCS offers unlimited, no-annual-contract wireless services on T-Mobile's advanced nationwide 4G LTE network. Its products and services are available online and across the United States through a network of company-owned stores, authorized dealer locations, and leading national retailers.

John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile
T-Mobile and MetroPCS are already number one in prepaid, and we are not stopping there. We are blazing trails again – this time with tablets for the prepaid market through MetroPCS.  Want a tablet from Boost or Cricket? They’ve got nothing.

Steve Cistulli, Senior Vice President of North America for ALCATEL ONETOUCH
We’re firm believers that mobile technology should be easy-to-use and priced to be accessible to all consumers, not just those with deep pockets. Both T-Mobile and MetroPCS continue to disrupt rate plan offerings for consumers – much in the same way ALCATEL ONETOUCH is disrupting what it means to have affordable, accessible technology – which is why the partnership between our brands is such a great value for our customers.
