Starting from 29th of September, Belgacom is adopting Proximus, its mobile brand, across all Belgacom and Proximus products and services, including fixed, video and IT with a new tagline 'Proximus, Always close'. Belgacom TV will also be renamed Proximus TV with a brand new UI being rolled out during the next few weeks.
Belgacom will be launching a big promotional campaign to introduce the new name. The company said that it can combine different services in an optimal way to serve its customers - both consumers and small and large organizations - anytime and anywhere with its suite of services reaching customers across all channels including TV, smartphone, tablet, PC or any other platform.
"With this Leroy is giving impetus to the plan announced in March to make Proximus the sole main brand before the end of the year. Of course, the launch of the new Proximus is not the end point, but rather the beginning of a real transformation. And it is our customers who will reap the fruits of this all along."
